Conway South Carolina

Conway is the county seat of Horry County and the home of Coastal Carolina University. With its strong historic past, the town features many buildings that are on the National Register of Historic Places. One such building is City Hall, designed by the architect of the Washington Monument, Robert Mills. During the 1980s, the City of Conway SC was part of the Main Street USA project, which afforded the downtown area a revitalization that included adding small shops and restaurants. Part of this revitalization also included the addition of Riverwalk, which is a region of downtown that features fine dining and winds along the Waccamaw River for fantastic views of the water.

One of the favorite Things to Do in Conway SC is the locally renowned pastime of Golf South Carolina. The City of Conway SC affords two excellent golf courses: The Conway Golf Club, with a 9-hole course, and the Wild Wing Plantation, with a 72-hole facility.
