Named after the American Revolution battle called, "The Assault of Star Fort, the Golf Club at Star Fort is a golf experience you will never forget.
The name-sake battle is also known as, "The Siege of Ninety Six, where the nearby town of Ninety Six was named after the other nearest other fort 96 miles away -- Fort Cherokee.
At the Golf Club at Star Fort, the rich history of the region as well as the traditions of golf come together in an affordable family-friendly golf club.
From Greenville:
* Take Hwy 25 South to Hodges SC
* Turn left onto Hwy 254 and drive approx. one mile
* Turn left at the caution light onto Hwy 246 to the town of Ninety Six
* Go though the first stop light and continue approx. 50 yards
* Turn right onto Main Street, which becomes Golf Course Road.
* Our course will be two miles ahead on the left
From Columbia:
* Take Exit 77 off I26 to Newberry
* Take Hwy 34 to the town of Ninety Six
* Turn left at the second stop light
* Go 60 yards, turn right onto Main Street, which becomes Golf Course Road
* Continue two miles and golf course is on the left
From Augusta, GA
* From Augusta take Hwy 25 North through Edgefield to Greenwood
* At first traffic light there will be a "Hotspot" gas station on left
* Take right at that light onto Scotchcross Road
* Follow road 5 miles to golf course on right |
